Reservoir Walls

Our reservoir walls are made of the proven, highly corrosion resistant, ZINCALUME®, G300, alloy coated, structural steel, to a minimum thickness of 1mm, which is thicker than the material used by most of our competitors and to a profile designed in consultation with engineers to provide greatly superior strength and exceptional durability (40 year life expectancy). Technical specifications and tolerances are available on request. Our walls are also available in the wide range of colours depicted above thereby catering for most aesthetic considerations. These coloured wall panels are made from the same structural steel as our metallic walls but are powder coated to produce the colour required. Coloured panels are also available in the colourfast material known as COLOURBOND®.
Roofs
A standard and integral feature of a Rainbow Reservoir is its elegant, low profile and very practical roof. Also designed in consultation with engineers to add strength to the overall reservoir structure, the advantages of the integral roof are obvious, several and significant. |

Liners
Manufactured to the highest standards, our liners are produced from, 75mm
thick, solid film, heavy duty, linear low-density poly-ethylene (LLDPE)
of international “food grade” standard. This is an inert material of exceptional
strength, durability and elasticity, which retains these properties for
greatly extended periods, even under the most harsh climatic and environmental
conditions. Technical specifications and certification details in respect
of this component are available on request.
Standards
Compliance & Certifications

Our reservoirs originate in Australia where their design
and the materials used in their manufacture comply fully with all standards
applicable to the highly competitive Australian reservoir and liquid storage
tank industry. These standards are at least the equivalent of those applied
by our South African Bureau of Standards to liquid storage structures
in South Africa. Technical specification and certification details are
available on request.
